In November of 2015, Aaron and the crew insulated our basement.  The entire Insulation Man team was honest, dependable, and observant when dealing with my home and myself. When my cat ran away, Aaron was right next to me looking for him! We found him - thanks Aaron!  Our basement is warmer than our main floor. We no longer use a dehumidifier in the basement and our insulation investment is paying off.  Great company with a history of honesty and integrity. --Julie S., Vestal NY

In December 2010, I had my entire EJ home, including the basement insulated by The Insulation Man. Pat Dundon came highly recommended by several people. These recommendations did not disappoint. Not only was I treated with the upmost respect and courtesy, the entire job was completed efficiently and meticulously. Every aspect of the job including financing options was explained thoroughly. All questions or concerns were addressed in a very timely fashion and to my complete satisfaction. As of April 2011, there has been a significant savings in my energy costs. The Insulation Man and staff is an excellent example of a well run operation. It would be a… (read more)

This is a heartfelt letter of appreciation to the expert staff of The Insulation Man for doing such an outstanding job of foam insulating my home. I not only found Pat's expertise and knowledge to be extensive, but it was a pleasure dealing with someone who is also honest and fair, with integrity. After assessing my home, Pat explained to me exactly what was needed in simple language that I could understand. As a first-time home owner, I had dozens of questions and Pat patiently answered each one of them.

Your Crew was very friendly and helpful. This winter our NYSEG Gas usage is so low, it barely registers on the bar graph on our bill! Thanks Pat, Susan and Crew!

My husband and I have an EJ Home that was badly in need of insulation in the walls. I'm so glad that we chose The Insulation Man to do our insulation project. Steve, who came to do our estimate, was knowledgeable and personable. He clearly explained the process of blowing in the insulation and he provided useful information about our options. Susan, in the office, was especially helpful. She worked with us to complete the paperwork for a New York State incentive program (GJGNY)  and to schedule a convenient day  to  do the project. The crew that did the work was punctual, pleasant and tidy.

I wanted to take a moment to compliment your company for the insulation installation done today at our home in Greene. From the first impression of Joey and Sean we were glad to have The Insulation Man do our work. I can’t express enough the level of care taken by Joey as the lead sprayer. He was so meticulous to make sure everything was sealed properly and as smooth as possible. He made it look so easy to make a laid stone foundation appear so smooth when he was done.

Pat & The Insulation Man did a job for our home and then for our rental property. He knows his field very well and gave expert advice on how to increase the energy efficiency of both dwellings. He and his staff are personable, stand behind their work, and guided us throughout the process step-by-step. I wouldn't have made it through the red-tape of state grants (NYSERDA) had it not been for Pat. In the end, I saved 40% of the cost of the job!

I want to Thank You for all that you had done to get my home insulated! I LOVE IT!!! I can truly appreciate the whole house as a system, and how sealing the envelope really works! The results are HUGE! The temperature on the first floor stays the same for HOURS without the heat coming on. I think the heat comes on once every 4-6 hrs! I can tell it is on for shorter periods too, it does not take much to get the house up to temperature. ( I think the attic is next some day, it is now the least… (read more)

My husband and I purchased our 1960's house in 2006.  We immediately noticed that it was very cold and drafty.  We were spending up to $200 a month on natural gas alone and our house wasn't even 67 degrees.  Our second floor rarely reached 65 in the winter no matter how high we turned up our gas heat.  You could literally feel the wind through the walls of our house.
